Grays Peak

Grays Peak is on the Continental Divide in the Front range mountains of Colorado. Grays Peak is 40 miles west of Denver, a real easy drive down I-70. To get to the Garys Peak trailhead from Denver, Take I-70 west and exit at the Bakerville Exit 221 and head south for Stevens Gulch which is about 4 miles. Due to the easy climb and proximity to Denver, Grays Peak is perfect for a weekend hike with your friends and family. I first climbed Grays Peak when I was seven years old and again when I was twenty five. With a bottle of water and some snacks, it's a great way to spend a morning.
